Nishikant Kamat on Ventilator Confirmed by Riteish and Milap
Nishikant Kamat is on ventilator in Hyderabad and is fighting for life and death confirmed by Riteish Deshmukh and Milap Zaveri.Initially today morning there was a news tha Nishikant Kamat has passed away and casting director and film Director Mukesh Chabbra had confirmed it.
Nishikant Kamat was admitted in the hospital last week due to the relapsing of liver cirrhosis. He was undergoing treatment in Hyderabad for cirrhosis of liver. Mukesh Chhabra who directed Dil Bechara and is a casting director confirmed the news. Although Now it is confirmed that he is on ventilator.
As soon as the news broke, director Anubhav Sinha tweeted, ‘Yeh Buri Khabre Kab Khatam Hogi.’ Ab Nishikant! Uff’
Meanwhile Riteish Deshmukh has twitted that he is on ventilator and not dead but yes the situation is critical.He tweeted to all the media House to give clarification to Nishikant Kamat fans.

Nishikant made his directorial debut with Marathi film, Dombivali Fast, in 2005. The film became one of the biggest hits of the year in Marathi cinema and also won a National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Marathi in 2006.
Filmmaker Milap Zaveri had previously shared a fond memory with filmmaker Nishikant Kamat and revealed that after speaking to someone at the hospital, he was informed that Nishikant Kamat was fighting for life and death. “Just spoke to someone who is with Nishikant in the hospital right now. He hasn’t passed away yet. Yes he is v critical and fighting life and death. But he is still alive,” Milap Zaveri posted on his Twitter handle.
The filmmaker rose to fame when he directed the Hindi remake of Malayalam hit Drishyam, starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu in 2015. He also acted in films — Saatchya Aat Gharat (Marathi), Rocky Handsome (2016), Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, Fugay and Julie 2.
