Arjun Kapoor and Malaika tested Covid-19 positive. Malaika Arora, who recently started shooting for her show amid the new normal, has tested positive for COVID-19. The actress took to her Instagram handle and released an official statement.
Malaika updated the fans about her health and said that she is asymptomatic. Her post read, “Today I have tested positive for coronavirus but I want to inform you all that I am feeling fine. I am asymptomatic and following all the required protocols and will be quarantined at home as instructed by my doctor and authorities. I request all of you to stay calm and safe. Thank you for all your support.”

Soon after Malaika posted her statement, celebs and friend from the industry wished her a speedy recovery. Neena Gupta wrote, “Good luck to you” while Rahul Khanna wrote, “Get well soon”. Even the fans flooded her post with ‘get well soon’ comments.
Yesterday, Malaika’s beau and actor Arjun Kapoor tested positive for the deadly virus. He said that it is asymptomatic and will overcome this. His post reads, “It is my duty to inform all of you that I have tested positive for coronavirus. I’m feeling ok and I’m asymptomatic. I have isolated myself at home under the advice of doctors and authorities and will be under home quarantine. The actor had started shooting for his projects. The actor recently signed Pavan Kirpalani’s Bhoot Police, which also stars Saif Ali Khan, Yami Gautam, and Jacqueline Fernandez in pivotal roles. The film will be shot at Dharamshala, Dalhousie and Palampur. Reportedly, Arjun and Saif will play ghosthunters in the film. As per the Mumbai Mirror report, a source had said, “Arjun and Saif play a pair of ghosthunters in the film. The makers have been working towards getting the right ensemble on board for a while now. The film, produced by Ramesh Taurani and Akshai Puri, will roll by the year-end.”
“The script is very close to his heart and given the adventurous elements in the story, the film requires to be mounted on a certain scale to enhance the thrills and chills along with the laughs,” added the source. Pavan confirmed the news and told the tabloid, “We are excited to bring this spooky adventure-comedy and really happy to have Saif and Arjun join the team as they are a perfect fit for this crazy entertainer. Both of them will be seen in very different avatars and will bring their trademark humour to the script.” Talking about the film, Saif had earlier said, “It is an entertaining film and we are hoping to roll with it towards the year-end.” Director Pavan Kirpalani is known for helming projects like Phobia and Ragini MMS.
