Amitabh Bachchan discharged on being tested COVID -19 negative. Abhishek Bachchan still hospitalized. Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19 last month, and have been in Nanavati Hospital since then, getting all the necessary treatment. Big B took to social media to inform his fans that he is now tested negative for COVID – 19 and have been discharged from the hospital. Tweeting about the same, Junior Bachchan took to Twitter to inform that his father will be returning home. But, he also added that he will have to remain in the hospital for a little longer as he has a few other conditions in addition to COVID-19. He assured everyone that he will also return home, healthier.

Abhishek and his father tested positive for the virus in July and ever since were treated in Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai. Soon after their news, wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan also tested positive. While they were quarantining at home for most part, they were shifted to the hospital for a few days. But they also tested negative and are back home, recuperating.
Yesterday, he shared a super sweet letter from his favourite international Football team, Chesea Football Club, who wished him a speedy recovery. He said that the best thing that can top this gesture would be for them to win the cup that evening!
