Aditya Roy Kapoor Walked Out Of Ek Villian 2 Due To This!
After the success of Aashiqui 2 and Malang, Aditya Roy Kapur and filmmaker Mohit Suri collaborated for Ek Villain 2, starring John Abraham, Tara Sutaria and Disha Patani. While we were thrilled about this multi-starrer project, the latest report suggests that Aditya has walked out of the project.
Citing the reason, source added, “When Aditya was offered the part, he was extremely kicked about his role and the way Mohit has mounted the action set pieces in the film. It’s even bigger than the way he devised the same for Malang. But in the last few weeks, Mohit and Adi were continuously having creative differences on the script and his role. There was a mutual decision taken by both of them where they finally decided to go ahead with the film, without Adi. There’s no bad blood between the two. They both share a great relationship and parted ways on this film on an amicable note.” Apparently, the makers are now hunting for another A-Lister to take action. While John was cast opposite Disha Patani, Aditya was paired with Tara Sutaria, who will play the character of a singer in the film. Interestingly, Tara is a trained singer and has sung in the operas too.
The film is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Bhushan Kumar under the banners of Balaji Motion Pictures and T-Series. While the film was scheduled to release on January 8, 2021, but there are high chances that it will get delay at the box office due to the pandemic situation of coronavirus.
